Bête Noire is the latest beast to be born out of 1980's electronica.
Back in the day Julia Nouveau was a 'vinyl mixing dj' appearing on several pirate radio stations and raves. Now she’s turning the tables again as a songwriter to take centre stage as lead vocalist.
Preferring not to enjoy the silence producer Jos Summers made a big noise as a sound engineer on the Camden scene and has subsequently produced a number of bands.
The duo hooked up in North London at the turn of the millennium and have fused a sound that stands up and stands out. In doing so they have created one Bête Noire you won’t want to avoid this year!
