Reading, movies, music, and writing. I love to travel, especially to places brimming with history and/or spirituality. Three of my favorite places: London, England; Venice, Italy; Grand Canyon (Arizona, USA)
Music
Clannad and Enya are two favorites. Celtic music in general is my first music of choice. I also enjoy classic rock (Doobie Brothers, Fleetwood Mac, Eagles, Janis Joplin), contemporary country (Dwight Yokam, Dixie Chicks) R&B (Luther Vandross, Aretha Franklin) jazz (Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Michael Brecker, David Sanborn, Manhattan Transfer), instrumental movie sound tracks (John Barry rules!), classical, oh, and Christmas music.
Movies
Too many favorites to list. Huge fan of period films, thrillers, and romantic comedies. Any film starring Cary Grant, Doris Day, Meg Ryan, George Clooney, or Gerard Butler.
Television
Due to time restrictions, my TV viewing is minimal. A few old faves: Dick Van Dyke Show, I Love Lucy, M*A*S*H, and Cheers.
A few recent faves: Gilmore Girls, Scrubs, Firefly, and LOST.
Books
Avid reader here. Big fan of romantic fiction and suspense novels. If it's fast-paced and witty I'm there.
Heroes
Anyone who faces their fears. Anyone who chases their dreams. Anyone who practices courtesy, tolerance and kindness.
About me: A longtime professional performer, storytelling comes naturally to me. Limiting myself to writing one sub-genre does not. A creative spaz, I'm published in contemporary, historical, and paranormal romantic fiction. I can't think of anything more fulfilling than writing stories where everyone (except the villain, of course!) gets a happy ending.
If you enjoy "madcap romance" (Publishers Weekly) and "whip-cracking suspense" (Romantic Times BOOKclub), check out any one of my novels. Presently, I'm writing contemporary romance for HQN (Harlequin) and historical westerns for Medallion Press.

"...an amazing charmer sure to dazzle and entertain!" -- Heather Graham, NYT Bestselling Author
"Everything about Ciotta's latest novel is fabulous: the lovable heroine, the sexy hero, the consistently humorous internal monologue, the smooth narration and the delightfully original plot. To use one of the hero's favorite words, it's "brilliant." The author is in full command of her storytelling skills, and she displays them masterfully. Here's hoping we'll be treated to a sequel." --Marilyn Weigel, Romantic Times BOOKreviews
