My love of music started as a child with soundtracks. I decided I must learn a wide variety of instruments and genres in order to compose soundtracks. Finally, I am working on my own compositions which will be posted here soon. Whille I hesitate to call my self a one woman band because I can not play all these instruments at once, I do play all of the instruments you hear. I also told the electronic drummer and bass player what to do because they live in my computer. I also sing the vocals though I perfer not to. Born in Texas and raised in Austin. I was first introduced to Celtic and Renassiance music at Excalibur Fantasy Faire in 1999. That is when I decided to take a break from classical and swing piano and french horn and go in a new direction. About three years ago I began adding Scandinavian music to my repretoire of celtic, medival, and renaissance music, along with a little middle eastern and electronic music. Most recently I have been taken a hold of by Steampunk and my portable steam powered amplified penny whistle is in the works. (picture below) I am primarily a penny whistle player but I also play flute, recorder, mandolin, octave mandolin, guitar, do a little bad singing, and play various other instruments as well. I love playing in the traditional manner but what I love more is taking the traditonal and making it modern. I'm currently playing with Shillelagh. I am avalible for shows, studio, stand in, and private functions.
