I have been happily married to my wonderful husband Steve for 2 years. He is the love of my life and my soulmate. I thank God for sending me Steve at the perfect time in my life and could not imagine my life without him. This past year has been really hard physically, emotionally, and financially; but our love remains as strong as ever throughout it all. Together, we were blessed with a beautiful gift from God, Little Miss Macy Jane Wiles.
Steven and I were not planning to have children until we had been married for at least 2 years. However, God had other plans for us! We found out we were pregnant in September of '06. In January of '07 we had a level 2 ultrasound that detected a heart defect in our baby girl. As heart broken as we were, we knew that the Lord had a plan and a purpose in the situation. I was able to thoroughly enjoy the rest of my pregnancy and on May 21st, 2007 Little Miss Macy Jane Wiles was born.
Macy Jane was immediately taken to the NICU after birth. I was able to see her for about 10 minutes before she was transferred to Lebonheur Children's Medical Center. She was admitted for 2 weeks after birth, then allowed to return home for 2 weeks. On June 19th, 2007, Macy Jane was re-admitted to LBCMC for failure to thrive. MJ did not return home from the hospital until November 27th, 2007. During that time, she had 1 stomach surgery, 2 heart catheterizations, and 2 open heart surgeries. MJ almost became an angel baby on a few occasions, but the Lord chose to spare Macy Jane's life. Through all of the struggles, pain, and suffering, Macy Jane is a very happy baby and has the most beautiful smile that will melt anyone's heart. I trully thank God for Macy Jane and for allowing me to be her mommy. I could not ask for a better gift from God and would not trade her for all of the money in the world.
Besides being a wife and a mommy, my third title is registered nurse. I have been a nurse for almost 5 years now! I currently am on leave from my job at Baptist Memorial as an ICU nurse, but plan to return to that position in the spring--depending on how Macy Jane is doing. I absolutely LOVE working in the ICU and the fast pace that it requires....most of the time. I have made some life long friends there and the doctors are awesome. BMHCC and its employees have helped me and Steve so much over the past 7 months through our difficult times, and we are eternally grateful to each and every one of you that has helped us physically, emotionally, or financially.

Who I'd like to meet: Jesus, Esther, Paula Deen, Rachel Ray, Billy Graham, and Joyce Meyer.
4 or 5ish sounds good. Sara and I will think of something to cook then. Does MJ eat table food, and if so what can we get for her! I'm so excited to see you on Saturday!
Bring your hubby!!! I've never met him. Isn't that terrible? My Chris and Kevin will be there. I have no idea what Kevins' friend Chris is up to these days. We'll have to find out. Should be interesting.
Sara does still live in the same place. We are staying at her house while we are visiting. You better bring MJ with you. Lauren will be with us. Is Saturday night better for y'all? Let me know. I don't think it matters to Sara.
I talked with Sara tonight (or we've been conversing through voice mails). Can we get together sometime on Saturday, the 21st? Sara suggested her house. How about midday? How does that sound to you? Let me know.
So when are you going to be in Pensacola? Is it over the weekend of June 20? If so, we will be in town to visit Sara and Kevin. If you will be there then, would it be possible for us to all get together? Let me know!!!
