About Beth Phoenix
Elisabeth Carolan (née Kocanski) was born November 24, 1980 in Elmira, New York. Beth began amatur wrestling for her high school team, she was the first female varsity wrestler in the school's history! Her goal was to become a professional wrestler and Beth believed that having a solid amatur background would help her in the professional business. Beth was trained by the All Knighters, who were trained at the Hart Dungeon (Beth's first choice wrestling school - it was too far away for her to train at).
Beth made her pro debut in a match against Alexis Laree (now Mickie James in WWE). Beth worked around the north east of the USA & Canada perfecting her craft and becoming more well known. In 2002 Beth won the first ever GLORY tournament, around that same time Beth battled Sumie Sakai in what many considered to be a female MOTY candidate!
In 2004 after a WWE tryout Beth joined OVW joining with Chris Masters & Brent Albright, but this was short lived as Beth & Albright were injured and Masters was called upto WWE. Beth returned in Febuary 2005 joining forces with Aaron Stevens. Feuding with many in OVW. In mid-2005 Beth & Aaron introdced Shelly, their special friend. This brought on feuds with Alexis Laree, Chris Cage, Matt Cappotelli & Christy Hemme among others. But it wasn't to last, Shelly became obsessed with pirate Paul Burchill, leading to Beth & Shelly feuding all over OVW.
In May 2006 Beth made her WWE debut attacking Mickie James (& in the process saving Trish Stratus). The following week Beth again attacked Mickie with an assist from Trish Stratus, and then it was announced She was an official Raw superstar. Beth's first WWE match featured Candice & Victoria vs. Beth & Torrie Wilson. Beth & Torrie came out victorious. The following week Beth took on Victoria one on one, Beth fractured her mandible (lower Jaw) during the match and will be unable to wrestle for two months.

Beth Unlimited was created in late 2005, not long after Beth recieved a WWE developmental contract and opened in February 2006. Beth-Phoenix.org was purchased in April 2006 after the huge success of Beth Unlimited's irst two months on the net. Beth-Phoenix.org is now one of the best fansites on Beth, housing the largest Beth Phoenix gallery on the internet!
