I love Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, Tom Rush, the Beatles, Johnny Winter, Marty Stuart, Jimmy Reed, Ricky Scaggs, Black Sabbath, and countless others...My musical taste ranges from classic rock, hard rock, metal, rockabilly, bluegrass, blues, folk, and world. I am very grateful to musical friends who have encouraged me and recorded with me in these musical endeavors, and without them my music could not be heard here.
Sounds Like
As far as I know I just sound like me, ha ha. I love all kinds of music from classical to bluegrass to metal and rockabilly, and especially love blues and rock. The music just comes to me, then I figure out a genre. If you think I sound like somebody, let me know.
Beth Fridinger is a singer songwriter who writes truthful songs from the heart that encompass a mix of blues, classic rock, country, and bluegrass. Her rich alto voice is a unique blend of soulful and mellow. She grew up in the Boston Mass. area and took piano lessons as a child and later on she played some guitar but put it down for many years. In early 2006 she began to play again after attending a jam party in Allston. In 2007 Beth started to sing and began to write her own songs after being inspired by a dear friend. She has been writing and recording music with some talented friends. She performs on the street, in the subways, and at some open mics in the Boston area. As a talented visual artist she always loved music but didn’t pursue it until recently. She thinks music is an incredibly fun art and there is nothing like it!
Beth has friends playing various instruments: Pegstone, Andy McClelland, Vlayman, Denes Hekel, Earl Foote, Scotty. Beth plays guitar, some bass, mandolin, harmonica, percussion, and a little keyboard.
Songs posted here are copyrighted to Beth Fridinger except for the ones in the public domain.
