Beth has been playing music for over 23 years. She was trained as a classical violinist/pianist, performing in the Jacksonville University Orchestra at the age of 13 and studying violin with members of the Jacksonville Symphony. She graduated from Belmont University in Nashville, TN in December of 2003 with a Music Business degree and has been using those skills to help book and promote gigs with her brother, Kort, all over the country for the past six years. In July of 2007, they decided to start Lucky Nugget Records, an independent label specializing in booking, promotion and cd graphics. She's excited to be using what she learned in college and touring over the years to make things happen for Kort McCumber and his band with the release of his 6th cd,"Lickskillet Road," with special guests Vince Gill, Sally Van Meter and Don Conoscenti. The 7th cd,"Ain't The Same As Before," will be available next month and has more of a rock/blues emphasis featuring drummer Russ Lawton of Trey Anastasio & Mike Gordon.
In addition to performing, Beth is a private music instructor teaching ages 4-adult violin/fiddle, piano and beginning guitar. She also collaborates with Sally Morgan, www.sallymorgan.net, playing folk rock and newgrass.
Hey Beth Wilberger, If I could have just one wish, it would be to wake up to your songs in the morning. You are dressed with filaments and people take pains to make you fully incandescent this evening. Your layers of absinthe and torsion form concretions of hyper-alimentation. Your hair sends forth a sheen remniscent of golden sunlight winding through shadows. The music that flows from your instruments overwhelms me with creativity. I sense wild vapors of sweet champagne in your larynx. So charmingly silky, your skin is like a teardrop on a popsickle. Blinking reveals the true visage of beauty hidden within your eyes. Your beauty is equal to the smoothness of a polished gem. Your wonderfully bright soul keep the demons from torturing me. Your eyes show as many deep and full shades of fire as a volcano in heat. In your absence I am forced into finding other forms of amusement while thinking about you. Entranced by the sweet harmony of your lips, I gaze beyond reason to find the oasis of your brilliant soul.
