Biography:
As a local band in the Staten Island metal scene, we formed under some of the most unlikely curcumstances. It all began about three years ago jamming in eachothers basements to some Metallica and Megadeth covers. Going from a side project to a jam band, and then to something bigger, things began to pick up. Before we knew it, there was Betrayal. I suppose most every band now days has the same story, but we are very adamant and determined to make it.
It's been a long road in such a short time, but from what we can see now, it was well worth it. Our songwriting has progressed dramatically since the formation of the band in late summer of 2005. Now, we would describe ourselves as heavy, meaningful, and original, but we will leave that up to you the listener or potential fan to decide. Currently we're working on some new material and have about enough new songs for a full length CD. We have a total of 2 Demo CDs, if you want a copy, come check us out and thanks for your support...

Purge the Purge is taking over The Cup!!! The proceeds made from the show will go to help expences for the group and efforts to opening and Eating Disorder Recovery Center on Staten Island. Its gonna be a great night so come on out for a good cup of coffee and Purge the Purges first show at The Cup.
Hey, what happened to your other guitarist? Whenever you guys are performing again, I can't wait to share the stage with you all again, it's always a pleasure. Maybe we'll see you guys on our October 12th show if you guys decide to come out, since I know Everynightdrive is playing that night as well. Hopefully we'll see you all around soon, and good luck in your pursuit for a new guitarist.
