BETRAYING THE MARTYRS is a 6 piece Christian Metal band … The official line up was established in December 2008 and their first track was recorded in February in Paris by Stéphane Buriez (famous French Metal Producer).
It was important for us to use the music that we love to raise awareness on positive messages for the kids out there: We’re looking to spread the word on scriptures that have helped so many in distress, in need, or even just texts that have helped people figure out who they are, and what they believe in.
We will be supporting positive organizations and associations throughout our concerts, and can’t wait to meet open minded people that will discuss music, ideals and beliefs with us.
We can’t wait to start touring and promoting this EP that will be out the 18th of November, stay tuned for more info!

Nous, The Amsterdam Red-Light District, avons l’honneur de vous faire découvrir 5 morceaux en avant-première de notre futur album Dear diary prévu pur le 22 Février 2010, enregistré et mixé au Warmaudio à Décines, France (Uncommonmenfrommars, Flying Donuts…) et masterisé au studio New Alliance East à Cambridge, USA (The ghost of a thousand, Cave in, Against me !, The Unseen, Terror, Isis, Converge…).
Ces onze titres composés entre Octobre 2008 et Juillet 2009, possèdent différents créneaux d’influences oscillant entre post-hardcore (The Bled, The Ghost Of a Thousand, Refused, Snapcase…), metal-hardcore (Raised Fist, In Flames…) et Punk-Hardcore (Comeback Kid, Propagandhi…). En espérant vous surprendre !
Une surprise, indéniablement, il y’en a une avec un énorme featuring :
James Isaiah Munoz du groupe The Bled (Rise Records) nous a prêté sa voix pour cet album.
