From the ashes of various local bands comes BETRAY YOUR OWN. A Metalcore Band from Fayetteville NC. Months of writing and practicing and changing out various members, BYO finally found a solid line up in the summer of '07 and played their first live show later that year. Ever since they've been slowly building a fan base with a desire to make their fans move and have a good time. Betray Your Own promise to make everyone remember why we love this music, these bands, and this scene.
By fall 09 with new songs, and an ep about to be released, BYO’s is booking and playing as many shows possible. With the hope to soon go on tour! BYO's first ep from Sacred Hearts studio will be released on Oct 22nd 09 on CdBaby.com, Interpunk.com, I tunes and many other international sites, As well as at shows. With a brand new record deal with indie label CHOKE EM!! Records ran by Tyler- founder, and Ray- Booking (singer of Full Blown Chaos). BYO plans to do what it takes to get where we want to be, and make this band a career.
