Brad Will, my cousin. A poet, musician, humanitarian, and journal-artist in action who was killed by government officials on Oct 27, 2006 while documenting protests in Oaxaca, Mexico. Rest in peace my spiritual brother...your ideals live on.
Wojtek Chodzko-Zajko, a genius and devotee at whatever he attempts, was my lifemate for 17 years
Connie H., my sister, an artist & realist who braved years with a childhood illness
Margot Milcetich, melody to my harmony in mantra
John Fanning, who lives life as an art
Luca, the child who speaks a language few understand
Chris Davidson, my teacher
Mom & Dad for creating me out of love and for allowing me to make believe so well that I do it for a living
Susie Mitchell, my sister who saw the spark in me and nurtured it when Mom and Dad couldn't.
Every one of my hospice companions is a hero...for inviting me to touch in with their end of life.

PERSONAL PROFILE: I'm a dancing, family oriented, art loving, spiritually driven person. I'm Grateful Dead meets Up With People. Dinner with friends and family, happy dogs at play, sweating in a sauna, getting lost in a good story, silence, counseling a friend in need...these are a few of my favorite things.
I was brought up to volunteer and it has lead to much joy and career opportunity. I have traveled the world as a performer and social activist, helped people die through hospice, devoted myself to community, made a yoga music CD (see my music), worked in films with amazing actors -- Bruce Willis, John Cusack, Ed Asner, Roshen Seth, Carrie Preston, Michael Emerson, Sherilyn Fenn, Dan Butler-- hosted a national show on NPR, produced commentaries for Harvey Pekar, won AP awards for feature reporting, and was named by Chicago Screen Magazine as finalist for "Talent of the Year."
I'm in a story out Pyro
Who I'd like to meet: Awassa Children's Project: Aiding Children, Fighting AIDS. This non-profit, grassroots organization supports orphaned children--60 at a time--and One Love Theater, a social issues circus troupe founded by street kids trying to better themselves.
