Metal hopes Better Left Alone had probably requested planning permission for the wall of sound they created during a charismatic, combative set.
Their layered sound was worked well – thumping harmonised vocals over stop-start guitars is a failsafe way of whipping up the crowd into a frenzy.

Kicking off the night with their accustomed aplomb came Better Left Alone, who showed they had much more depth and content than your usual emo-band. Vocal harmonies and killer guitars were top quality throughout much to the delight of the head-bopping crowd.
