We are Betterman, we started a little over a year ago, and now we are finally going public. We play mostly Rock but have influences and experiences from all sorts of genres and tend to dabble here and there. Unfortunately due to financial restraints not only do we have few recordings, but they aren't of the best sound quality, so bear with us.
We play Crisis-core; people might not be familiar with the genre, but it focuses a lot about the lyrical content and the musical tone. We play with a classic rock mentality, but use modern technique and have modern influences. We try to keep our focus on more of a positive message as opposed to the strongly negatively-written music out there in the scene today. Even though the language occasionally gets a little edgy(heheh), for the most part our theme is keeping hope, faith, and a held-high chin in life. Of course, we write about a lot of things, but if we had to have a "theme" it would probably be 'working to be a better man'. That's kind of what our name has come to mean. So pull up a chair and give us a listen, won't take long and hey, you might learn something.
We are working on a lot of material, and we've got some shows coming up; please check them out and come if you can, we'd love for you to be there.
