As far as I can see there are only 2 kinds of music, good and bad. I prefer good music. And just cuz I don't like it doesn't make it bad.
I don't quite understand all the genres of music but some I dig include rare grooves, boogaloo, ska, rocksteady, reggae, drum & bass, old school r&b and soul, punk, blues, metal, psychedelic, instrumentals, beatz,jazz, fusion and on and on and on... I'm open to things I haven't heard yet!
Movies
I collect mostly Blaxploitation Films which to me are like the Rare Grooves of film. I enjoy the films of: Melvin Van Peebles, Jim Jarmusch, Ralph Bashki, Tim Burton, Quentin Tarrantino, John Waters, Gregg Araki, Roger Corman, Martin Scorsese, Bob Fosse, Mel Brooks, Kasi Lemmons, Julie Dash and more to come...
