Charlie Swanson began writing songs some years ago, more often than not on his acoustic guitar. His music is slow and mournful, with simple structures and minimal instrumentation. The songs are emotional and expressive, maintaining a poeticism tracing back to his years as a music journalist. He is currently writing songs for his first full length album scheduled to be released in Spring of 2008.
