PRESS RELEASE || SUMMER 2010
With a penchant for post hardcore progression, mixed with downright dirty and experimental soundscaping, BETWEEN THE SCREAMS unleashed their breathtaking debut album, 'Our last days on Earth', Through Basick records on October 5th 2009.
The bands love for emotive, ambient, progressive metal has attracted attention from many quarters, having recently won them a spot on the Metal Hammer CD covermount, a ‘Band Of The Week’ spot on the Radio 1 Rockshow as well as the highly coveted Rock Sound KBY Band of the Month award.
The album has received high praise from Press and fans alike, with the tracks 'Blood red dawn' and 'The Manhattan project' receiving airplay on various Radio stations including Radio 1, Total rock and numerous local radio outlets.
So far in 2010 BTS Have secured two Metal Hammer cover cd's, an Ed Stone/Planet loud sponsored headline UK tour, Some excellent endorsements and partnerships and the video for debut single 'Our last days on Earth' being ranked by Scuzz TV as one of 'The top 10 new UK bands" (as well as being added to the regular playlist).
A final UK Jaunt is planned forJuly and a final single and video from 'OLDOE' will conclude the album cycle. 2009 was a great start, 2010 is a great beginning.
