About BETWEEN THE SCREAMS: SIGN TO BASICK RECORDS!
‘Our last days on earth’, the debut full length from Between the screams will be an album of Melancholic ambience fused with glistening post rock soundscapes and cinematic post Hardcore.
Recorded at Mighty Atom studios in deepest, darkest Wales with Joe Gibb (Brigade, 3 colours red, Funeral for a friend, TAINT) at the helm, ‘our last days on earth’ builds on solid foundations laid by the debut E.P ‘Embryo’ (Self released)
Released in spring 2008 to much critical acclaim, ‘Embryo’ showcased the bands love for huge, hulking Deftones esq. chord progressions, coupled with strange song structures, a Tool like Ambience and the enormous vocals of Adam Ralph.
Aided by the production talents of Mark Williams (*Shels, Devil sold his soul, Oceansize) ‘Embryo’ helped BTS built up a solid fan base and feedback from both national press and fans alike was overwhelmingly positive.
With ‘Our last days on earth’ BTS have come back braver, More experimental and focused. Songs move in and out of crushing post hardcore verses before culminating in epic crescendos of Electronics and downtuned walls of guitars.
Over the course of the next year the band plan on touring anywhere and everywhere, Venturing to Europe and up and down the UK in support of what is hoped to be a monumental release.
