About me:

My wife Sue, Kari and Tom, my children and I have a passionate interest in history, preservation and reenacting. Our interests span from the 16th to the 19th century. The Elizabethan time period held a particular fascination for me. From 1995 to 2003 I operated a printshop at The Bristol Renaissance faire complete with a full size wooden letterpress that took five years to build with a lot of help. I also participated with The Guild Of St Michael as a pikeman, Shot and Artillery for two years. I modernized to the 18th century in 2003 and began participating with Lauzun's Legion a French regiment from the Revolutionary war. I continue to participate with Lauzun's Artillery as time allows. Now I am modernizing once again. We are moving to West Virginia, surrounded by the History of 18th century settlers and the Civil war we find ourselves absorbing all we can about local history and its preservation. Sue has opened up Beverly Books and Antiques, a used and rare book shop. Tom a long time friend is in the process of restoring The Randolph Enterprise Building part of the restoration will include a working 19th century print shop and museum. My printing equipment will have a home soon I hope. The Randolph Enterprise was the first News Paper west of the Allegheny Mountains Founded by George P. Sergeant in 1874. There is a lot to do and the list grows constantly.
