Beware the Kraken have been playing in London and the South East under various names for the last 10 years. F File, Womb, Yeaman, Bonobo now Beware the Kraken. The current members of Beware the Kraken have played many local festivals, including Guilfest and numerous music venues in London and the South East.
The 4 tracks currently featured above are the latest studio recordings and give a good flavour of the diversity and range of the band and their songs. A live album has recently been professionally recorded in Portsmouth and is currently being mixed, please request your free CD through the site, which will be sent to you in early 2008. The bands strength and depth in songs comes from the fact that all 4 members write individually and as a collective.
The current set list is an eclectic mix of fast driving songs and melodic soaring anthems, which have been well received by the core fan base and new audiences alike. The band is currently fulfilling their last few gigs of 2007 and will be recording some new material in 2008, which they will be showcasing throughout 2008.
