Who I'd like to meet: We would like to meet any Judoka from any club, any country, anywhere. Also if you are thinking of trying Judo or you are an existing Judoka who wants to visit, drop us a message!
Bexhill AA Judo Club was established in 1952 by Sensei Mick Nieve. Since then it has been run by Sensei Burt White and subsequently by Sensei John Fox, and from 1982 to the present day by Sensei Ray Roberts.
We enjoy a large mat area of 180 Sq Meters which was acquired in December 2004. The Dojo is in a large hall with wooden partially sprung flooring and a high ceiling.
Bexhill AA Judo Club is within the Bexhill Amateur Athletic Community Association and has the use of the club facilities, including changing rooms, showers, a Bar and off road parking.
Other Sports found in the club include Aikido, Boxing, Football amongst many other sports and activities.
Bexhill Judo Club is run by volunteers and all money raised put back into improving oppotunities and facilities at the club. We have members aged from seven to Seventy eight! Judo is widely recognised as offering many benefits.
We endevour to maintain an atmosphere conducive to hard and serious training with an open and friendly attitude. We have an active grading policy and some very successful junior and senior competition players, as well as an active interest in Kata, and all other aspects of Judo...
