   About Beyond Our Galaxy
Tried music lessons long ago in the early 80's - tried to play trombone, faked my way through band. Started messing around on the drums at school after classes. Started a punk band with two friends, I was the drummer, made a lot of noise and two self made tapes. Actually had a letter from a small record label to make a record!!

Discovered synths with other friends - started listening to Tangerine Dream and many 80s synthpop bands. Took a few keyboard lessons, never liked to practice. Used to borrow a 4 track tape recorder from a friend and made some songs. Had a Korg Poly 800 and Korg drum machine.

Ended up selling my equipment in the mid-90s to fund buying my first Mac. Discovered sequencer programs like Cakewalk when I lived in Denver, a friend had a great setup- Yeah that's you This Quiet Dust (Mark Boer), this is all your fault!!!! ;-)

Mark and I collaborated on a number of songs and made our own tapes. Talked about submitting to a label, but never did.

Moved back to Florida with family - finally purchased some synths and started aquiring equipment to make music around 2002, after I started DJing. Equipment I currently use, if you are curious:

* Mac PowerBook G4 – 1.67 GHz Power PC

* Propellerhead Reason 4.0

* Gforce Future Retro Software Synths - with emulators of Mini-Moog, ARP Odyssey, OSC, and Mellotron

* Arturia Moog Modular V2 - emulator of Moog Modular * M-Audio O2 MIDI Controller

* Korg Triton LE Synthesizer

* Roland TD-3SW V-Drums - Electronic Drum Kit

* M-Audio BX8a Powered Monitors

* M-Audio Trigger Finger MIDI Controller

* Ableton Live 7.0

* MicroKorg Analog Synthesizer

That's awesome, and I'm digging your tunes. Very "chill" sound. (I'm actually a big amateur astonomy nerd, and can easily see myself loading your stuff into my Ipod for stargazing!) Keep in touch once in a while.
