Beyond Shadows is a melodic aggressive metal band. Originally formed in 2000, the band combined the harsh sounds of death and black metal with the melody and technical ability of classic bands such as Judas Priest and Iron Maiden.

yup we still used the 24 track analog tape machines hehe. i must say i find it really annoying that we get this killer sound in the analog world, but then run it through a 003 piece of shit interface into protools, they really need to get an HD rig in there. along with a computer than can take the load. we lost so many takes during the recording process cause of Protools buffer problems.

In August '07, 4 out of 5 members (Ash, Howley, Dan, and Anthony) of Everything's Ruined quit the band. We are staying together and starting a new project with all new material. We need a guitarist.
The situation is one in which all members will contribute to the band. We know we're going for a heavy and technical sound but we're not limiting ourselves to one genre/subgenre. The band is in the beginning stages of writing and we want to find someone to complete the band as everything we've written so far is really for 2 guitars.
We're looking to write for a few months, then record and play lots of shows, then ultimately tour as this project gets off the ground. We have a practice space in Mount Vernon.
