Television
Don't really watch T.V. anymore but grew up on MTV (back when they played videos) and Saturday morning cartoons (He-Man & The Thundercats rule!).
Anything Python and anything with Rowan Atkinson or Jennifer Saunders. Pretty much anything British.
State side I loved; Taxi, Cheers, Roseanne, Moonlighting, Thirtysomething, China Beach, Northern Exposure and Wonder Years.
I have to shamefully admit that I watched more than my fair share of Designing Women, Golden Girls and Just Shoot Me (Guilty pleasures exposed).
Stopped watching T.V. when the 1 hour cop dramas and reality shows started taking over though I did love the first season of The Real World.
The HBO series Six Feet Under is one of the greatest programs ever to land on the dial (thank God for Alan Bell). That thing with Eric Stoltz on Showtime looked cool and of course I'm loving Weeds. South Park is brilliant and The Family Guy is pretty funny too.
I also love talk show guys like; David Letterman, Bill Maher, Dennis Miller, Jon Stewart and, of course, the late great Johnny Carson. Leno is a complete tool!

Heroes
those who feel the fear and know not the way but forage on regardless. those with truth to say and the courage to say it anyway. those who inspire me to keep moving forward no matter what.
About me: yo
i am sainthollywood
saint as in i ain’t no saint
hollywood as in i really am from hollywood
a place that affectionately refers to itself as hollyweird
and the place i blame for what a crazy motherfucker i am
i am also a music addicted-liberal idealist-religious independent-sexual deviate-bearded introvert-
blue-eyed soul/folk-punk singin' song writin'-
long haired hippy freak!
and i am here now hoping to impart some of my fuckupidness with you all
the first clue to my raving insanity is my big fuck-off beard
you see it
don’t pretend that you don’t
some people have afros or mohawks
some dangle hair in front of their faces
others still wear elaborate clothing, piercings or make up
but fooled or not they’ve all got big fuck-off beards
one of the things that the big fuck-off beard elicits
is a tendency for people to refer to me as jesus
yes that of nazareth
the christ child
i deny these accusations whole-heartedly
and quickly remind whoever it is slinging them
jesus was not a white man
much less a fucking pale blue saXon like me
the inherent problem with being the messiah
is that you have to die
young
and I want to live
so for my own selfish reasons
i’d like to decline this honor and
in stead
demote myself to the rank of prophet
or maybe perhaps just a saint.

Some people, they like to go out dancing And other peoples, they have to work, just watch me now! And theres even some evil mothers Well theyre gonna tell you that everything is just dirt Ya'know that, women, never really faint And that villains always blink their eyes, woo! And that, ya'know, children are the only ones who blush! And that, life is just to die! And, everyone who ever had a heart They wouldnt turn around and break it And anyone who ever played a part Oh wouldnt turn around and hate it!
