Gringo Rick's Interests
General
Travel, travel, and more travel. If I could do this all the time I surely would do it. South America is my favorite but I've been fortunate to see some other great places as well.
I love going to concerts too but primarily heavy metal ones. A heavy metal concert experience is much more than just the sum of its parts. Those who enjoy concerts such as these will know what I am talking about!
Other general interests include watching sports (I'm a casual fan these days so if my team loses, oh well, I will get over it), enjoying nature (hiking, camping), playing disc golf (it's surprisingly addictive), and going to the gym. I've probably left some things out so I'm sure this list will continue to evolve.

If you have the time and the inclination check these out. If you dare....
Television
I generally don't watch television and even when I do it's doubtful that I am actually paying attention to what's on. I don't have cable, satellite, or any of that stuff that gives me even more choices of bad programming. Sounds sickeningly elitist doesn't it?
What this means, at least for the time being, with regard to television is that I choose to look backward instead of forward. TV shows of bygone days are what interest me right now. For now I will spare you the list...
Heroes
While I certainly don't want to diminish anyone's contribution to the "greater good" (that's a relative term of course) it is far too easy to choose the heroes that everyone seems to know about. So what about the little guy? What about the people what didn't walk on the moon, discover electricity, paint masterpieces, or grace the Hollywood Walk of Fame? What's this fascination with heroism anyway?
Thus, for reasons known only to me (and even that is stretching it) and in no particular order I say consider these "heroes":
I just launched a website where you (and any other metalhead) can check all the major shows coming to town, all in one convinient place. There, you can find information about any venue in DFW that plays metal, find a direct link to buy tickets online, band information, etc.
I am also keeping up with a "mailing list" so you can always be updated without effort. If you would like me to add you, just send me a message back with your e-mail address. The website is called "The Metal Times" and you can view it here!
Tell your friends about it, add it to your bookmarks, write something about it on your profile, any help is appreciated. Let me know if you have any questions!

Happy early new years to you to man. Theres no other way to live besides metal!
Hell, I'll go to that show for Trail of Tears. I'll tack that unto my list of shows for next year.
Also, I do plan on seeing if I can make it to ProgPower. The only issue is I cant rent a car, and you're the only person I know thats going. So if we could get rooms in the same hotel or what not and share a ride that would be awesome.
Hi Rick!!!!! How are you? Thanks for the comment:-))
I'm really busy since a lot of my colleagues left the company during this month from October. I wanna go to the good show of many bands more. But I haven't got time now and can't go. The stress keeps building up lately....humm
BTW, It's getting colder in here. Is it cold in Texas in December?
Enjoy and have a great weekend! Take care, Satomi.
OMG, I'm sorry I had to leave early :( I was sooooooo sleepy! The drive home was bad! I was struggling to stay awake, literally slapping myself so I wouldn't fall asleep at the wheel. Did you get to meet the guys?
