The self taught guitar simplicity of grunge, punk, and modern "left-of-the-dial" alternative.
The spanked ska, metamorphosed j-rock, and synthetic clank of the bass.
The rapid fire, shoot from the hip drumming while maintaining the oh-so sought after solidness of heavy metal without skipping a beat.
The haunting vocals of things we can only see in our minds and the ideals and dreams we’ve only begun to realize.
This is our life, but its never as good as the other side.
It was the love of music and guitar that brought Quinn Chavez and Jake Clark to create a band one day at lunch, their freshman year at WFR-HS in Wake Forest, North Carolina. Originally starting with just Jake and Chavez, both playing guitar, Eclipsed Motion was formed.
For the next few weeks, Chavez posted bulletins on the internet, and around school in hopes of locating a bassist, drummer and singer. Eventually, Chavez convinced his friend, Wesley Spencer, to play bass in E.M.
The band went through a rough few months trading bassists, drummers and singers. The bad times didn’t last long though. While searching for a singer, Jake found someone with similar influences as the rest of the band, and though that maybe he would be a keeper. Jake e-mailed the candidate, but was shocked at the answer to his reply to Jakes first question, what is your name.....Katie Holt. After a few conversations and a few practices with them, the band decided that it would be a great change to the music scene to have a band of this genre with a female vocalist. A few practices later they decided she should stay.
Only about a week after Katie joined, Wesley found someone at school who happened to play drums. The next practice, Mark Hoffman listened to the rest of the band play and decided he wanted in. The next Saturday, Mark brought his set, and the band was whole once again.
Recently rhythm guitarist Jake Clark quit his position in the band due to differences of opinions. Shortly there after, bassist Wes quit as well. Also drummer Mark was let go. The new drummer for the band is now the amazing Cameron Mueller and Cory Freeman has decided to fill the position of the band’s bassist. Most recently, their lead singer of over a year Katie Holt has resigned as Lead Vox because of academic obligations. Regardless, Beyond the Walls continues to gain experience as a live act and is writing new material while searching for a suitable vocalist to make the band whole once more.

hey chavez, do you think you could help me learn a little more about playing the guitar? and i... need some advice about something kinda really big...thanks
Yeah its great... I like it. definently a jam song. If you wanna re- make it we'll certainly have to work on tempo and the screaming stuff. that just feels like a faced paced song by the intro... and thats how i feel it should remain.
Dude holy crap. I never really listened to Falling Faster since it was before my time but hey that could be a good song if it stayed in tempo... we should work on that soon too.
Hm, Yeah heres what I think we should do now. Record "Double Blind", edit the band line up, and prep for the Poor house show. I got a few promo ideas so lemme know and we can get the ball rolling. If i can get tickets this week i can start to sell asap. later.
oh just that Ethereal word threw me off. im not tryin to be a jake or anything im not against....EA XD like EA Games lol im not against you guys at all=]]]]
