Emerging out of Rochester, New York in October of 2007, Beyond This Day was formed by 5 guys who wanted to start something different. In the summer of 2008, when personal conflicts affected the band's progress, they parted ways with their original guitarist and vocalist. Shortly after, after gaining Jon Casper on guitar, the band recorded it's first full-length album titled Phases which was never really released. In October of 2008, they acquired vocalist Rob McCready and keyboardist Erika Hartway, scratched the band's old material, recorded a second demo, and started fresh.
Beyond This Day creates a unique sound blending melody, technicality, heavy breakdowns and catchy chord progressions to bring something new to the ear. They are currently writing for a full-length album with plans of touring in the future and gaining new followers to their music as they progress and move forward with no intentions of stopping or slowing down.
