Each of us, at one time or another wanted to take a picture of some event and there just wasn’t enough light in the scene to capture it correctly. Use the “flash”, that’ll do it. Not so, if we are at an auto race after sunset. A flash is only good for short distances and the autos are too great a distance to respond.
