About me:

I'm a creative-type. Visual art is my life's blood. Painting, digital art, sculpture mostly. In a gallery, I'm like a kid in a candy store. But much less hyper. :) The graphic design nerd in me is fascinated by company logos and typography.. love Photoshop.

Music is essential. A group of respected scientists have concluded recently that without music, I would surely die. I *needs* it! Mix music and art together, and it's the closest I have to a religion.

Speaking of religion.. though I'm not religious, per se, (I'm agnostic) I do find religion fascinating. I definitely have more of a spiritual/philosophical nature, though. I am legally a secular humanist minister.. life itself and a love for humanity is my temple.

I see the world through lenses of my own creation. I'm a classic INFJ. I'm passionate about life, since as far as I know, there's only this one (but hey, I've been wrong before.) I'm extremely driven, and I have big dreams that will be realized. I think about politics a lot lately.. seeing what's happening to the world lately has moved me in unspeakable ways.

Which reminds me, all freedom-loving fellow patriots should check out the Midnight Owl News Blog - here's the link: (http://TheMidnightOwl.com). The Midnight Owl is an alternative, freedom-loving, civil liberty-defending, Obama-exposing news source dedicated to fighting the New World Order. Be sure to add my RSS feed! (the orange icon, top right corner of the page). :)

Who I'd like to meet:

Unique people. I'm still fairly new to Austin, so right now I'm all about just expanding my circle a little.

I tend to enjoy the company of geeks (I'm a bit geeky myself), dorks, nerds, nonconformists, freethinkers, hippies, and fellow humanitarians. Basically, I just want to meet somewhat normal, funny, intelligent, chill (or at least chill-friendly) people who feel like just hanging out.

I'd like to meet people that are into similar things. I'm a homebody.. I enjoy nerdy/geeky stuff like: playing video games (PC MMORPGs esp.), watching sci-fi movies and comedies, Family Guy & the like, watching documentaries or just shootin' the sh!t over a drink or whatnot.

When I feel like getting out, Alamo Drafthouse is wicked awesome.. we had nothing like that in boring horrible Phoenix (where I moved from). I also love live music downtown.. like I said, I'm new to Austin, so I also dig exploring new restaurants & random things to do (the Congress bridge bats were tres cool.)

And although I hate having to mention people I *don't* want to meet, please, no Paris Hilton clones or Bush supporters.. we wouldn't get along, trust me. Bleh. :P
