I like to read good books and go to good movies. I like stories and well told stories are my favorite. Another passion I have is for hiking and the outdoors. I love to hike a good trail. I also like to canoe and love to white water raft.
Music
Right now I'm learning to play a guitar. So the music that interest me most is what I can learn to play. I love folk music, Irish music, oldies, and some pop.
Movies
I like different kinds of films. Lately I've been staying away from films that are downers. I need more cheery things in my life. So I like different kinds. I love Science Fiction and Animation, well done animation. I'll go see anything Pixar does or the guys who do Wallace and Gromit.
Television
My favorite tv shows at this time are not shown on my tv. They are 6 Feet Under and Deadwood. I've watch them on dvd's these days, I hope to get Carnival next. I like Stargate and it's spin off. So I watch that on Friday nights when I'm home.
Books
I can't really recommend any books. I read quite a bit. I can recommend authors but not books.
Heroes
I have many heros. Let's see first Diane Arbus is one. Annie Leibovitz is another. I'll have to think about who the rest are. I know I have them, their names just don't come to mind right now.
I work in Digital and film. I do all my own B&W processing and printing. I have a studio where I can light subjects or take my lighting to the costumer.

About me: I'm 52 and still here. I've been a free-lance photographer for the last 25 years. Now I do digital as well as film. Strange times, I use to do well at this, now I don't do as well. Times change that's for sure. Also my passion for it as changed. I still love the B&W darkroom. I'm not a big fan of sitting in front of a computer for hours on end working on images. That is the way of the future. But I'll slick back into my darkroom from time to time.

Who I'd like to meet: Friends is what I look for these days. I have a wonderful boyfriend, who I'm in love with. We'll see if it develops into something else but right now it's fun. I can only handle one lover at a time, so friends is all I want right now.
