Our little trio for now is Bryan Croad on N/S Stick, or Novax 8-string guitar/bass, and possibly acoustic guitar depending on the situation; and Don Croad on drums.
I also want to give a shout to my long distance collaborators who reached across the internet to drop some tracks on my CD.
Influences
Jeff Beck, John Scofield, Mike Stern, Bill Frisell, Miles Davis, John McLaughlin
Jazz and rock with acoustic and electronica elements.
I began playing saxophone at age 11, and added guitar a few years later. From 1984 to 1988, I attended the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. At Berklee, guitar became my principal instrument. I majored in Commercial Arranging, studying many different composition and writing techniques for all styles of music. During my time at Berklee, I also was introduced to film scoring, jingle writing, and using computers in music. After leaving Berklee, I stayed in the Boston area, writing music for several independent films, playing guitar (and singing) in rock bands, and also doing live sound mixing for other bands. I also had the opportunity to write and record program music for performers and presentations of other artistic disciplines, help several singers/songwriters arrange their material for bands of various sizes, and to perform in live theater productions. Recently I have focused on composition, production, and film scoring work, while remaining available for live performances. My personal music has turned in a jazzier direction, but with a rock edge influenced by artists such as John Scofield and Mike Stern. I am also influenced by old-school fusion like the original Mahavishnu Orchestra, and the ethereal style of Bill Frisell.
Hey Bill, If you haven’t done so already, check out “Frantic Freedom”, the newest song added to the music player on my page.
It’s a live studio groove rock jam that’s funky as hell! Think of Jimi Hendrix’s “Foxey Lady” on steroids, and you’ll have a good idea of what’s in store for you when you hear the song. There’s also a companion live video for the song. And in the video I DO MY UPSIDE-DOWN GUITAR PLAYING THING. Ya gotta see it!!
**IF YOU DIG IT, YOU CAN BUY THE LIVE JAM TRACK FROM THE VID FROM MY SNOCAP STORE!
Also, I added TWO MORE videos. One is called “a little bit of my history”, in which I talk about some of the things that shaped me as a guitar player. The last new vid is called “Rocket Dreams”, a straight-up rock jam!
Sending my best regards from my favorite bar in Bergamo, Italy on my way home form a fine evening of music and wine. Just tapped a wireless internet connection on my new ultralight computer so I can have a drink(++) and write a few friends at the same time. Way too civilized for a traveling musician..
Thanks for the musical encounter, it's great to hear from you.
Hey Bill!!!!! I haven't forgotten about you......Just been be-bopping....walking into walls...falling on my head.....trying to kick that awful drinking habit...(so embarrassing to drool after each sip) and all the wonderful....wacky things...in this world...... Hope you are keeping connected up to that creative wave...and surfing quite well on it!!!! Aren't you excited...Tomorrow is HUMP Day....If I could just find a camel somewhere....but I am always...out of luck...DAMN.... Have it good! Have an XO Cognac from me, ~Joyce

In all honesty, I believe all efforts have been helpful in their attempts to win the WAR on world peace, we've all done our part. But, the majority rules that our troops have fought and died for this reality to come to pass in a much more demonstrative form known to man, to show the rights of freedom reign. I stand for PEACE, and they do too... "Hear Them, See Them."
I am a Christian/humanitarian, and an avid supporter of the Veterans who have sacrificed so much, for the betterment of World Peace.. Let's not forget those who made the ultimate sacrifice in uniform. This is a tribute to the fallen men and women in uniform and is in no way promoting or glorifying War, nor endorsing conflict of any kind. It simply highlights the supreme sacrifice of many who died in the service and defense of their country. My Blessings And Respects Are Extended To All Serving Veterans [Past & Present] And Especially For The Fallen & Their Respective Families. May Our Mutual Dreams/Prayers For World Peace - Soon Become A Reality...Have A Safe Memorial Day Weekend! ♥With Much Love & Admiration♥
Hi Bill, Yes, I change my name often, it's called Creative Delusion; I guess I get bored or it's my Mood Swinger (remember that one-lol). I really like Mood Swinger. Hmmm, so I'm on your page, hey a SAX player, always a favorite of mine. Love the saxxxxxxxxxxx, it should be called the Sexy Sax. Anyway, I'll be by to really check out your music and maybe buy... Make the best of the NorEaster we're having! (Well, in NY). Cheers ~GG~
