About Wasted Youth

NEW: Wasted Youth Album Memorialize - The singles Collection 79-82 The Bridge House in Canning Town London, home of Bridgehouse Records and Bridgehouse Publishing........................ The Bridgehouse was the seminal rock venue in East London throughout the seventies and eighties and a regular home to such bands as Iron Maiden, Depeche Mode, The Blues Band and Secret Affair as well as the Bridgehouse generated Wasted Youth. The Bridgehouse shut its doors to live music in 1982 and was bulldozed into the ground a couple of years ago. Twenty years after its close the Bridgehouse is still remebered by those that played and visited it. The seminal Bridgehouse album Mods Mayday 79 is about to be re-released to an entirely new generation of music lovers. A generation who will sadly never experience the unique live experience that was the Bridgehouse pub, the first pub in the world with its own record label.
