About me: Founded in 2006, bh one is a website dedicated to promoting the music scene in the Bournemouth/Poole area. As well as gig reviews, recorded music reviews and a thorough gig guide, the site also has several other features including photos and videos of hundreds of local artists.
We are always looking for lads & lasses to contribute to the site. If you have a passion for music, and in particular the local scene, we'd love to hear from you. Reviewers will get into gigs for nowt, given free cds and sporadic gifts of kindness.
Until recently, we have been putting on our own Live events at The Gander in Bournemouth. Very sadly that venue has now closed, but, from July 2009 we have been managing the live bookings and promotion at Champions, a fantastic 240 capacity venue (plus a cool 120 capacity basement club below) which is just a ten minute walk from the town centre, on the corner of Queens Road and Norwich Ave West.
The venue also boats a quality PA, ten plasma screens with state of the art video technology, plus a substantial collection of music art, memorabilia and videos. Our Live gigs have found a new home, and our aim is to put this superb venue firmly on the gigging map, not just for local bands but also for quality touring bands everywhere.
As well as the abundance of fantastic local bands we continue to promote, we've also had the pleasure of welcoming a host of fine acts to the sunshine coast.

3 Reasons to Record at ITG I In a separate building, not a bedroom or part of a house. Okay, it's “in the garden” of a house, but it's a detached, purpose built studio, soundproofed from the outside to around 90db, acoustically treated inside with a separate live and control room. Remember, if the acoustics in the room are not right, no amount of equipment will ever fix it. T Tons of industry standard equipment, not home studio toys. For example the RME Fireface 800 is one of the top of range digital audio interfaces recording up to 192Khz ( not that you need it ) with almost no latency at all. That combined with Neumann/Rode vocal/instrument mics and things are looking good. G Good value for money. We are not the cheapest and we are proud of that fact. We charge a mid-range price that enables us to offer the kind of after session support needed. Ask any previous customer and they will tell you how much trouble w
