About Trävis

Born in spain in 1983, always have been apassioned by music. Many years ago, i heard some trance tracks, and really liked that style of music, so i started listening to it. I got a free demo of ACID MUSIC 1.0 with a magazine, and played with it, making some really poor quality tracks (i had no tools by then), so i got discouraged, but still didnt want to leave this world i got in touch with. I decided then to try myself at turntables. Amazingly, i could manage to do it almost correctly, so i bought a pair of these. I started to get requests to play at some discos locally, so i just couldnt deny to do so. Since i found too difficult to get Vynils where i live, i decided to buy a pair of pioneer cdj-800, and burn my own cds, so i started playing with them. I felt encouraged, and decided to try once again on producing, so i asked a friend to give me some lessons about midi, and vsti's. He tought me how to use Renoise (i still use it), so i bought a midi keyboard to do it in a better way. I stopped playing at discos, since i got a job that made me have no time for it (shifts where also at night, and i was also studying). I was only producing. From that day until today, i have spend my very rare free time on this. My ambition, is that my music is heard. My dream is to someday remix Rahel Krebs and Kirsty Hawkshaw. Its their voices what helps my time go by softer.
