With my steel string Martin & nylon guitars I started writing songs from a folk, blues & country perspective. I was dying to use my voice instead of just screaming down a microphone and so began my solo music life as Bianca Jade...
In 2005 I released my first solo EP ‘Taste It’ showcasing six tracks of varying style from acoustic rock to folk tunes & smooth jazz.
Late 2005 I spent six weeks in New York City & London promoting the EP on my first overseas tour.
The success of this first tour took me back to the USA in mid 2006 where I spent two months concentrating my efforts on the intoxicating & inspiring New York City music scene.
With my newly inspired sounds from NYC I came home to make my second solo record. Combining a rustic blend of acoustic blues, country tunes and feminine folk the six track EP ‘East 3rd Street’ was released in December 2006.
The title track was chosen to be included on the 2007 Kiss My WAMi Compilation. I've been touring and promoting the EP within Australia since its release including performances supporting The Black Sorrows and opening for KD Lang in 2008.
