Sounds Like
Depends on the day...but you can decide that for yourself.
Bianca Merkley does not look or behave like one might expect from a rock star. Bianca is, and always has been, a down-to-earth type of girl; one who others might say enjoys the wisdom and foresight that suggests she is an old soul. Her unpretentious beauty is natural and unassuming. But don't be fooled by the mysterious and soft-spoken girl holding the guitar and standing before you in front of the microphone. This girl rocks the house.
For her 16th birthday, Bianca was given two choices: 1. A Car; 2. A Guitar. At 16, the majority of teenagers would jump at the opportunity to own the freedom that a set of wheels can provide, however Bianca had the maturity to choose a different sort of freedom, an enduring freedom that music and artistic expression gave her, even as a teenager. Bianca chose the guitar. This decision would be one that she would never regret as well as a decision that would alter the course of her life.
As Bianca continued to refine her skills as a musician and songwriter, she had an experience that was both profound and life-changing. While playing her guitar and singing in the streets of Park City, Utah, Bianca was approached by a man who had briefly stopped to listen. His words would forever change her: "In this moment, I have forgotten my problems." Following this experience, Bianca was driven to share her music for a higher purpose: that others might find respite and healing through her words, even if only for a moment. Promise, Bianca's debut album, is the result.
With a voice that is pleasantly clear and sultry, lyrics that uplift and music that satisfies the soul, Bianca's music is a mix of folk, jazz and pop. In the words of one of her listeners, "you just can't get enough.”

Ya know... i really gotta tell ya. This music you got going here is really great stuff. How do you not have a record deal?! Really love the sound and songwriting. Very worn in and friendly. I especialy liked No New Yorker. Sweet groove. It was nice to hear something true to heart in American Girl. We need to get that one on the radio out here in California. It might change some of our minds! All in all my ears thank you! Best wishes...
