Bibi Farber, from New York City, writes driving, melodic, poignant pop/rock and finds all the right people to play it! On her first CD, Firepop, Richard Lloyd of Television played guitar and produced. Also appearing are Ira Elliot of Nada Surf, Dennis Diken of The Smithereens, Royston Langdon of Space Hog, Peter Stuart on bass (fellow Who fanatic and old friend from NY's garage scene) and on keys Joe Mc Ginty (Psychedelic Furs, Losers Lounge).
For her second release, "Second Kiss" she recorded with producer John Agnello (Dinosaur Jr., Jay Farrar, Son Volt, etc), kept Ira Elliot and Peter Stuart, called in Andy Burton on piano (Ian Hunter Band) and played all the guitar herself.
To date her music has been featured in over 200 instances in TV shows (MTV, VH-1, A&E, Disney stuff, Season 2 Scrubs DVD, Travel Network, Food Network, and many many more) as well as two major commercials, including KODAK. See website www.bibifarber.com for full licensing list.
