What is Bibi about?
Bibi is San Francisco's Premier Queer South West Asian, North African (aka Middle-Eastern) Charitable Party! We're an all charitable non-503c event for the queer South West Asian, North African (Middle-Eastern) community and friends. This means that the proceeds are funneled back into community projects, donations, and Bibi event production. Since Bibi's inception, in June 2007, we've donated: - $3,000 to SWANABAQ, a Middle-Eastern community organization.
- $2,650 to Helem, ASWAT, IRQO, IraqiLGBT, Meem & Middle-Eastern Children's fund
- Presented Arsham Parsi of IRQO
- Presented Aswat's Rauda Morcos & Samira Saraya with GALZ's Fadzai Muparutsa & Mary Audry Chard

What are we up to now?
Currently, Bibi is leveraging contributions, from it's October 2007 & February 2008 events, on a new initiative focusing on health and wellness programming for the Swana community. We've established a preliminary alliance with the API Wellness Center & New Leaf Services in San Francisco to get us started!

While this work continues, we'd like to make an immediate impact. So we've opened the floor for the community to get involved with Bibi!
