NEWS: 5-5-08: Happy Cinco De Mayo! Just wanted to let ya'll know that copies of the new release "Your Shining Path" By Johnny Miller are available through me and at Reckless Records here in Chicago (reckless.com). Drop in and say hi! Also, I'm working on various projects for the online music platform "Evening of Light". They will be releasing a compilation CD and book in the fall. I will be recording a track specifically for this release as well as writing a short story and accompanying artwork. More news on that soon! Take care!

3-38-08: OK! Good news, an edit of the new track from my new album is up and the album is available for order. I'm looking to get it distributed here in the near future, so if you or any label you know is interested let me know. So yeah, Johnny Miller "Your Shining Path" is here! Description below:
"A mesmerizing album of mystical sound exploration, "Your Shining Path" combines elements of early minimalism, folk, noise, drone, and psychedelia into a blissful sonic celebration that is uniquely its own. Influenced By La Monte Young, Boredoms, Terry Riley, Rhys Chatham, Six Organs, Steve Reich, Pandit Pran Nath, Angels of Light. Limited to 50 beautiful hand made copies."

3-17-08: Whew! After a long lapse in updates, fear not my friends! Bickering Bray is not dead! We're very much alive. Alive and very busy! Got two new releases up and coming, first up is my new record " Your Shining Path" which is somewhat of an homage to early minimalist pioneers and compositional innovators La Monte Young, Terry Riley, Angus Maclise, John Cale, etc. It still focuses on the idea of the spiritual force found within the drone. I'm very proud of this work and feel it to be one of my best efforts in regard to sheer breadth of influences and moods contained within each piece. So yes, more info to come on Johnny Miller "Your Shining Path"!
Also, keep your eyes out for The Miller Boys, an in-the-works album by my brother and I focusing more on a "rock" sound i guess you could say. Think hillbilly psychedelic indie rock meets the Sic Alps and you've got an idea. More to come soon folks!!

5-14-07: Alright now! My (Johnny Miller) new solo cd-r is out now! This is Bickering Bray's 10th release so I'm very proud to announce the arrival of this album. This is different than my Cloud Temple stuff. It's titled "A Description of the Movement of the Sun: 2 Ragas" and as you can probably guess it's 2 Indian influenced guitar and hand drum raga's. Bowed strings, cymbals, chimes, and Tibetan singing bowls attend this musical meditation. Two extended tracks clocking in at around 45 minutes, so this is no e.p. The album comes packaged in a vinyl sleeve with a cardboard cover and inside is a special hand made booklet assembled from Tibetan Lama paper and parchment. The cd's are gold spray painted. Very nice looking package. I'll post a sample soon! Also, keep on the lookout for the John Miller & Justin Wilk album "Timbre in Ghostly Reverence", out soon.

4-3-07: Great fucking news! While attending the Prurient/Burning Star Core/Bloodyminded/Carlo Giffoni show at the Flower Shop the other night, I got a chance to speak one on one with Dominic Fernow, whom many of you may know as the mastermind behind Prurient. I have the great pleasure of announcing that his New York store Hospital Productions will now carry Bickering Bray and Black Moss items. Check out the site here for more info on this excellent store:www.hospitalproductions.com

Olde skozey fetisch performance newly posted @ YouTube. It was the first ever Noise Pancakes at Pubis Noir. There were three audience members in attendance.
hello again! our new album amalgam is out now. this interesting new journey in the world of time & tide has been created by fusing together the donated sounds of our fellow myspace friends. each copy comes with hand-made artwork that is unique to that copy and the entire run is strictly limited to 50 copies. check our profile for samples and ordering information.
You can now directly purchase many of our songs via our MySpace page for $.79 each, including rare tracks not available anywhere else.
Our only wish is that when you purchased a song, your computer would produce one of our hand-made covers to match. Sadly, no matter how hard we tried, we couldn’t make this happen. But you do get instant gratification for $.79.

Hi! We just wanted to let everyone know that our CD single is still available free of cost to anyone interested (just send us an address) and also that we've updated our page. Come over and check it out sometime...
Both, actually. I have a few Argus tracks, and a couple of my own solo stuff I'd like you to hear if you have the time. I packaged up our latest if you'd let me snail mail it to ya, and I have a few smaller tracks I could e-mail.
been listening to the skullzone stuff since you got the recordings up actually! love it...we should try to get something set up. unfortunately we don't have a van or anything large enough to actually tour with all our amps. we have considered going on the "no room for amps" tour and playing with only tiny combo amps at all shows hahaha
