About me:

My name is Tom Snyders. I am known as "The Bicycling Comedian" because I have been traveling to all of my stand-up comedy performances and speaking engagements by fully-loaded touring bicycle since June 20, 1987. In that time I have pedaled more than 150 ,000 miles throughout 50 state and 33 countries on six continents. I have performed in more than 200 comedy clubs over the years and made ten national television appearances -- including appearances on "Good Morning America," "Live with Regis & Kelly" and shows on Comedy Central and ESPN. In the Spring and Summer of 2007, I celebrated my twentieth anniversary on the road by pedaling from Key West to New York City for performances at Carolines Comedy Club. I then pedaled to succesful bike event performances at: Bike Across Kansas (Kansas), Ride The Rockies (Colorado), and Ragbrai (Iowa). On June 5, 2008, I left Cancun, Mexico, on my fully-loaded touring bicycle for my solo bike trek through the entire length of Central America and South America -- ultimately finishing in Ushuia, Argentina, on November 16, 2008!
