HISTORY and AIMS:
A group of music enthusiasts with a like-minded aim of enjoying a more relaxed and mature take on live ..blues' music, got together and formed the Bidgee Blues Club Inc in May 2006.
The direction of the committee of the club is to enhance the community's access to, and enjoyment of Blues and Roots music, which has a very broad genre.
We are doing this in the following ways:
• Events are promoted regularly where local and national Blues performers come to Wagga and show their stuff.
• Open Mic%lam Nights are held on the first Thursday night of every month where anyone can come along and perform.
• Music workshops are provided for local people where professional tutors pass on their knowledge and skills.
• Establish a data base of members so we can communicate the club's activities ... ie: Gigs, Newsletters, upcoming National Blues Festivals, Fundraisers, Members Nights, etc.
• And maybe one day of holding a Blues Festival in Wagga
Our club slogan is:
"WHERE THE MURRUMBIDGEE MEETS THE MISSISSIPPI".

Friday October 23rd – Lee Rosser + TH3, live @ The Pub, Bendigo VIC
This will be one of THE VERY LAST SHOWS to be staged in the famed Band Room of The Pub (173 Hargreaves Street Bendigo), as it will be closing it's doors on Oct 31st.
Sadly, the well-sized band room, which has seen some fantastic nights for live music in Bendigo, will be closed due to lack of punter support over recent times.
Show Gav and the rest of the gang at The Pub that the live music scene in Bendigo is alive and kicking... come along and check out a brilliant night of blues & roots music besides, as the mighty Lee Rosser makes a long-awaited return to Bendigo!

I had my marketing cap on about a week ago and with all the bad news; the Taliban in Pakistan, the looming Chyrsler bankruptcy, the new flu epidemic, etc; I decided to go with a more optimistic theme for this summer in a bumper sticker (old school). I think its working. There are currently a little more than 50 cars in the Branson area sporty this lil’ beauty. (Yes, I comped them) What do you think?
