Dear Music Enthusiasts,
The BIFE adventure started in 1996, during an Erasmus course (Scottish Agricultural College) in Edinburgh, Scotland. BIFE RadioShow was created by me, Vítor Sá!! The show goes on air since July 16th, 1998. So here's a very brief info about the show!

For the second consecutive year BIFE RadioShow has been nominated as Best Portuguese RadioShow in the Dance Club Magazine Music Awards (2004 and 2005). Probably, this level of recognition suggests BIFE RadioShow must be doing something right...
Well, BIFE organisation continues to grow, incorporating a wide spectrum of sounds and ideas with the restless energy of a born innovator, speaking the international language of rhythm. Despite the success, it remains contentedly unsatisfied. The past walks along the present and all kinds of music and arts live in the same line heading the future; crossing boundaries, challenging norms, breaking rules that limit.

Although people think that BIFE RadioShow is a big team, well, is just myself. With a little help from some amazing ladies and gents! I'm addicted to music! Without music, no joy. But without joy, no music! Sans musique, pas de joie. Mais sans joie, pas de musique! ;))))
I'm into anything as long its original and has got soul. I try to keep your ear holes filled with the very best new music. I also present a guide about alternative culture: clubbing, theatre, movies, arts, fashion, literature, human rights, animal rights, ecology... Extremely wide open, indeed! :)
Attention!! I would like to get in touch with independent labels, DJs, bands, magazines, Radios, writers, producers, or any kind of occupation that is dipped in the entertainment industry (music, literature, internet, technology, film, nightlife, television, fashion, theatre, etc) who work with the same kind of spirit, and look forward to international expansion. BIFE is 100% on open minded culture! Anyone interested feel free to co-operate with BIFE. Fora do estúdio da Rádio Trofa, o BIFE RadioShow abifana sessões gira-disquistas ao domícilio dos ouvidos mais abertos e também em divórcios cheios de polémica, baptizados da filha do primo da tia Benilde lá da terra e até mesmo em festinhas de bares. Atitude não-DJ, ignorando as passagens perfeitas e o acerto das bpm's! Aceitam-se requests!
E, entreTanto (som), se vires aqui, ali, acolá, acoli, ao virar da esquina, um BIFE bem mal passado dos carretos com um ovo, aliás... uma ouvinte vegetariana a cavalo, huum, pronto, sou eu! :))
O BIFE RadioShow fervilha desde 16 de Julho de 1998, mas registou fase pré-embrionária no Verão de 1996, em Edimburgo, Escócia (terra de "bifes", pois), aquando de um estágio no Scottish Agricultural College, ao abrigo do programa Erasmus. Aproveitei para mergulhar no espantástico Festival Internacional de Edimburgo/Fringe Festival: uma loucura de artes de palco, artes de rua e afins! Perante tais argumentos, o BIFE RadioShow só podia ser como é!... A propósito, recomendo turismo cultural, sim!, em Edimburgo, especialmente, por alturas do dito festival de encantos tamanhos, geralmente, na segunda quinzena de Agosto. ;)
Os Dance Club Awards são uma iniciativa da revista Dance Club e o seu objectivo é o de premiar uma vertente musical e artística habitualmente esquecida nas restantes entregas de prémios nacionais: a música electrónica. As categorias abrangem todas as vertentes da cultura electrónica nacional e internacional; vão desde a edição discográfica, passando pelos DJs e produtores, até aos patrocinadores, bares, fabricantes de equipamento, programas de rádio e muito mais! O BIFE RadioShow abifanou duas-nomeações-duas, consecutivas!

Neste país – onde ainda se lê e escreve com os pés –, é uma loucura fazer um programa de rádio com estas características: orgulhosamente "low budget", sem preconceitos, aberto à divulgação de tudo o que as rádios cinzentas nem sonham que existe. Provavelmente, é a capital radiofónica da cultura "open mind".
As moças vegetarianas ouvem o BIFE RadioShow às escondidas só p'ra não admitir que o tal BIFE lhes dá tanto prazer! Uiiiii...
O programa disponibiliza a famosa BIFE Newsletter: a leitura deste amontoado de vogais e consoantes pode provocar dependência física, mais se informa que esta newsletter é desaconselhável a Duros de Ouvido e interdita a Velhos do Restelo. Olá BIFE RadioShow obrigado pelo teu comment Conforme prometido é com enorme prazer que podemos neste momento dizer que o nosso primeiro single já está online no nosso myspace. Após este tempo com o preview já era hora de colocar um tema inteirinho, esperamos que gostes.
Pudesse eu, e fecharia todos os zoológicos do mundo. Pudesse eu, e proibiria a utilização de animais nos espectáculos de circo. Não devo ser o único a pensar assim, mas arrisco o protesto, a indignação, a ira da maioria a quem encanta ver animais atrás de grades ou em espaços onde mal podem mover-se como lhes pede a sua natureza. Isto no que toca aos zoológicos. Mais deprimentes do que esses parques, só os espectáculos de circo que conseguem a proeza de tornar ridículos os patéticos cães vestidos de saias, as focas a bater palmas com as barbatanas, os cavalos empenachados, os macacos de bicicleta, os leões saltando arcos, as mulas treinadas para perseguir figurantes vestidos de preto, os elefantes mal equilibrados em esferas de metal móveis. Que é divertido, as crianças adoram, dizem os pais, os quais, para completa educação dos seus rebentos, deveriam levá-los também às sessões de treino (ou de tortura?) suportadas até à agonia pelos pobres animais, vítimas inermes da crueldade humana. Os pais também dizem que as visitas ao zoológico são altamente instrutivas. Talvez o tivessem sido no passado, e ainda assim duvido, mas hoje, graças aos inúmeros documentários sobre a vida animal que as televisões passam a toda a hora, se é educação que se pretende, ela aí está à espera.

No zoológico de Barcelona há uma elefanta solitária que está morrendo de pena e das enfermidades, principalmente infecções intestinais, que mais cedo ou mais tarde atacam os animais privados de liberdade. A pena que sofre, não é difícil imaginar, é consequência da recente morte de uma outra elefanta que com a Susi (este é o nome que puseram à triste abandonada) partilhava num mais do que reduzido espaço. O chão que ela pisa é de cimento, o pior para as sensíveis patas deste animais que talvez ainda tenham na memória a macieza do solo das savanas africanas. Eu sei que o mundo tem pr
