It has been a bery quiet week for me, and, boy, did I need it after all the bery hot weather. Daddy’s home this week because he got hurt at work and so he had to hab a week off to west. It’s good – daddy is doing a wot of westing. He is taking me and mummy for walks ebery day and he is pwaying wib me. He is nearly always doing something wib me so I can make sure he is doing his westing. My fabourite game is jumping on daddy’s lap when he is weading the newspaper and making the newspaper go flying all ober the yard. Daddy should be bery rested when he goes back to work on Monday as I hab kept him bery busy ebery day this week, and eberyone knows how westful and rewaxing it is to be with a lovely puppy dog.
One day wecently Mummy and I were having our bonding session. This inbolbs me kissing and licking mummy all ober her wegs, arms and face. Mummy woves it and I wove it, too, because it is me showing mummy how much I wove her.
Anyway, after I had finished I decided to do some roly-polys, that is roll ober fwom one side to the other on my back. Mummy said to me “Kayla, make sure you don’t fall off the bed” but I was busy doing my roly-polys and scwatching my back to wisten. I decided to do one last roly-poly when all of a sudden I was in the air and then I heard “plop” and I was on the gwound.
I heard a funny noise coming fwom the bed, so I jumped back on the bed fwom which I had fallen to find out the noise was Mummy LAUGHING!!!!
I got into the biscuits/cookies today. I had gone all quiet and so mummy called for me but I didn't answer. Then mummy came wooking for me. I was in the spare woom where mummy puts groceries that she can use waiter. Anyway, there was a big pack of biscuits/cookies in there and they were just at my height. So, I pulled them to the gwound and started to chew at them. By the time mummy found me I had already made a hole in the plastic and was heading for the biscuits/cookies. She called me a bad girl and took the bag away fwom me and put it up high so I can't reach it. I will have to learn to work faster so that I am already at the biscuit/cookie eating stage BEFORE mummy catches me BOL
Mummy still woves me because not wong after the biscuits/cookies episode, mummy and I had a bonding session on the bed. That was wowewy.
I got a bewated birthday pwesent on the weekend. Mummy and daddy went to the shops and bought me my bery own wadio to listen to, coz at the moment the wadio I listen to in my bedwoom is weally daddy’s. Daddy wants to take it to work, so he and mummy went and bought me my bery own wadio. When they got home they set it all up and so I now have a nice new wadio in my bedwoom just for me to wisten to.
On Saturday I got an errwy Chwistmas present – I went and got groomed. It was sush a bootiful feeling. After I had my hair washed the hooman started to dwy me. He dwied me with a hair dwyer and it was wowevy habing the warm air wunning through my hair – it felt wike I was wunning acwoss the park on a sunny day. Then the twimming of my hair began – all my hair got twimmed. I now wook wike I did when I was a puppy. My hair stays fwat on my body and doesn’t fwy around all ober my body and I don’t hab any hair ober my face now.

Mummy and daddy went ober to my vet’s today to get my 3-month-worming tablet and my vet announced to mummy and daddy that she is weaving. I am so sad. I wiked my vet – she was always bery gentle wib me and always gave me tweats. I must hab been bery special to my vet because she had a packet of doggie biscuits and tweats all made up, just for me.
