I'm a bassist playing regularly with various types of bands in the greater Midlands area and beyond, as well as collaborating with local artists such as Si Hayden http://www.myspace.com/sihayden, Matt Bramhall (Time Squared/One Nation/Emily Sheriff and the Deputees) http://www.myspace.com/mattbramhall, Safanah http://www.myspace.com/safanah, DJ and solo artist Rae http://www.myspace.com/raegunhq www.safanah.co.uk, Harleighblu http://www.myspace.com/harleighblulow and Dave Freeman.
I recorded with Verity Pabla http://www.myspace.com/veritypabla earlier this spring. Look out for a release this autumn. Other performances have included Julie Dexter www.juliedexter.com & www.myspace.com/ketchavibe, Soweto Kinch www.myspace.com/sowetokinch alongside Andre Bassing www.myspace.com/bassingmusic and Boneto Dryden http://www.myspace.com/bonetoakabunny at the Live Box sessions at the Drum in Brum and on several occasions since as a house bassist and with the Mike Sole Trio. Twas reet nice!
In the summer '07, I had the pleasure of an impromptu jam/gig with the legendary rockabilly pianist Mike Sanchez http://www.myspace.com/mikesanchezandhisband..His stage pianos last a year! Plus the fabulous singers based in Leicester both in gigs and jam sessions, Carol Leeming www.myspace.com/carlleeming and Mellow Baku www.myspace.com/mellowbaku
I have also had the honour of supporting the following acts: Aswad www.myspace.com/aswadmusic and the awesome Jill Scott www.myspace.com/whoisjillscott at the Shepherds Bush Empire whilst playing for the insanely talented Leigh Kenny (L.S.K.).
I have been involved with a number of musicals over the years (on bass) including great shows such as 'Chicago, 42nd St, Oliver, West Side Story, The Wizard of Oz, Disco Inferno, Back to The 80's, Kiss Me Kate and Grease amongst others.
I am looking to become more prominent in the London area, so if you like what you hear, please get in touch!
It's easy to spread oneself too thin...ME LOOK T'IN TO YU!? lol
I am available for session work, bass deps, bass/keyboard/music theory lessons and general collaborations, so if you like what you hear, please get in touch.

I dep for BBG (Big Black Guitars)- Rock/soul covers band

Easy Money - Blues Covers Band
Indivisible - 21st Century Funk/hip hop/rock

In addition to fretted/fretless bass, I also play upright, synth bass and keys. All the tracks you hear feature my bass playing or production. I love quality music no matter the genre. So if you require a bassist or a band for a project, please get in touch.
'Isn't it Obvious?' and 'Wake Up' were written by Safanah and produced by Darren Evans and Andy Thompson. Look out for the forthcoming album 'Shade of Blue' on Huckleberry Records. I helped out on bass
'Don't You Think It's Funny' was again written by Safanah and produced by Darren Evans and Andy Thompson. Yours truly on the bass. There are more tracks to come from this incredibly talented songstress
'The Chicken' was played by the Mike Sole Trio recorded at Riverside Studios in mid 2007 as part of a student project but overseen by Frank Swales. It's a lil loose but we just went in and played, no rehearsal.
These talented individuals have been a pleasure to work with.
'Revolution' is a live performance by my old Reggae outfit 'Ruff n Ready' it was staged at Kelly's in Leamington Spa in mid '05 and the gig on the whole had a fantastic vibe. Hopefully this short clip conveys a part of that. It now also acts as a tribute to a good friend and fantastic musician Paul Brook.; who sadly died recently after a 2 year battle with cancer. He is sadly missed.
'Love Track' took a long time to get to the finished state. It started as an instrumental, then Maxwell Golden(www.myspace.com/maxwellpalmergolden) handed me this Ol' Skool track that just seemed to fit, (singer's picture is on the track selection) so over the following months I continued to tweak and refine and I hope it shows. This is my favourite track. Thanks to Colin (www.myspace.com/31Productions) formerly of ACP Studios who aided with the engineering and suggestions.
I am available for session work, bass deps, bass/music theory lessons and general collaborations, so if you like what you hear, please get in touch.
I have found that writing to people before adding works better than just adding alone. So I would appreciate the same in turn. I will look at every request and check out your page and if I'm feeling it I'll accept.
Finally, myspace is a great tool, but it's not the world! It's not a race to see who can have the most friends! So from now on if I see a request from a band that just wants me as a statistic instead of a friend then guess what my answer will be? There are far more important things going on than myspace truss!.....Facebook anyone?
I've just uploaded a couple of new solo bass demo tracks, "Lullaby" a tune I recorded with my Spector fretted bass and "Soulmates" a new rough demo recorded with my Zon Hyperbass. I hope you will get to check them out and tell me what you think :)
