Big Ben is a second generation refugee who was born and raised in North London. Already a budding poet at age 9, by 11 Big Ben was writing his own verses and making songs with his friends Supar Novar and DRC. It was at this time they formed the still existing super group Flip tha Skript.
At school, Big Ben developed his craft, getting a name for himself in various groups including C4C (featuring Akala and Dj Brass Foot). Still making music with Flip tha Skript, Big Ben and fellow members began making cassette tapes - one tape got to UK Hip Hop veteran SkinnyMan who regularly invited Big Ben and Supar Novar to open for his shows and spit on radio. At this time Big Ben was still building his name and continued to work with Flip tha Skript and featured on Foreign Beggars first album “Asylum Speakers” in 2003 on a song called “Getaway”.
Unfortunately shortly after this Big Ben was sent to prison. In 2006, after years of writing and honing his craft, he was released from HMP and returned to the ends with a new hunger. Jumping straight back in to the game by performing at Glastonbury 2007, TDK Cross Central 2007, Tottenham Carnival 2008, Lounge On The Farm 2008 and opening for Big American acts such as Ghostface Killah, The Clipse, M.O.P, DJ Premier, The Licks, Sway, L.Man, the Mitchell Brothers and Rahzel.
Since returning Big Ben has featured on numerous mixtapes and songs including work on SuparNovar’s album “From The Beginning”, Wordsmith’s album “In The Pursuit Of Harmony”, the UK runnings mixtape series, as well as collaborations with Ndubz, Yaeo, Sir B and others. Doing it all independently after pushing and non stop blagging, Big Ben was finally able to produce his first solo Mixtape “Good Food Rap” which is available now.
People desire many things, but it is the individual's duty and responsbilty to desire the proper things.
A noble failure may be of more value than a petty success.
Anyone who makes the wrong choices will be a burden, not only to themselves but to future generations.
though life is often short, one should live and act in such a way that their achievements will bring them and their country a good name forever. If they do not use their training for worthy ends, they will be an enemy to themselves and an obstacle to others. they will, indeed, be sick while supposedly heathy and dead while still alive.
The obligation to improve oneself does not cease simply because one has a regular job.
Simply watching other peoples achievements is a characteristic of the lazy person.
There is no person in this world who is free from lifes responsibilty.
If the wealth of a person cannot be for the general welfare, what would they gain for themself and their offspring but grudge and hatered?
A qualified person with vision, unmoved by daily selfish interests, will be led to moral decisions by their conscience...... thanks for supportin my other pages free gary walker ,delaproser peace delaproser n gary repect
