The Big Blue Accident was created in the winter of 2001 by three
best friends, Yonah Zerykier (drums), Ami Kozak (bass/vocals), and
Yoni Safier (guitar). By playing local battle of the bands' and benefit concerts, BBA grew into a sound all their own. Their unique
style is a blend of funk-rock with heavy bass and drums and a jam-
band twist. The Big Blue Accident is a power trio that keeps music
fans on their toes with funky rhythmic changes and charging vocals
backed by surging guitar lines. They have played in NYC at The
Lion's Den, The Knitting Factory, Tribecca, and others in
Manhattan/Brooklyn as well as multiple clubs in Israel including The
Yellow Submarine. With five years experience and three creative
artists, The Big Blue Accident puts on a different performance every
show for concert goers making them a group not to be missed.
