Welcome to the music of Big Blue Octopus. Here you will find Lo-fi and not so Lo-fi improvisations as well as formulated songs.
Did you know that only 1% of the "deep ocean" has been explored by man? We know as much about the ocean as we do about space, time, and the Large Hadron Collider. This leaves many questions unanswered; hence the motivation behind the Big Blue Octopus. All of our music stems from the deep places of the ocean (such as the serenely venereal Mariana's Trench), and contain interesting entities such as purple crocodile turtles, singing umbrella sandwiches, pincher-toads, collossal squid-manatees, and, of course, the illusive big blue octopus. Please feel free to look at our pictures, show dates, and anything else that catches your eyes and ears. We greatly appreciate your interest and hope you have a good day.
Perhaps you will soon understand why Weekly Dig referred to our music as "torrential free-skronk."
