Sounds Like
A lot of things.... You'll have to hear it when I get it to you, then you can tell me
Big Blue Spruce is the musical asiprations of Paul Miller of Divine Loraine. Currently working on material, the band will form around the music as it is laid on the tracks. This project is an opportunity to let loose the southern child in my soul. While I have been writing for years, it wasn't until recently that the style has been defined. Thanks to Bob Dylan and "Chronicles Volume 1", the world around has inspired me in ways that I am just beginning to imagine. Basically rooted in simple acoustic riffs and rythms, there will be plenty of raw rock and rough riffs to relate to the band I have been a part of for the last nine years. The name was inspired by a Blue Spruce Tree that was planted to commemorate the birth of my niece Riley. As little as that thing was, it is big to her. In time this music will grow and be bigger than me on my littlre four-track in my apartment. Music will be available very soon.
