Big Cas is without a doubt the future of hip hop. With a rap flow wise beyond his years, this lyricist is making a huge impact in the music industry. Big Cas was born and raised in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Having grown up around music his whole life, Big Cas developed a strong love for hip hop and began to rap at the tender age of twelve. “I’ve loved hip hop music, as far back as I can remember,” quotes Big Cas. He has accomplished so much since he began to take rap seriously. Big Cas has opened shows for nearly ever major artist to come through NC. He released his first solo album entitled “Pain and Music” and managed to move 10,000 copies of this LP throughout the streets and local “mom and pop” stores of NC and SC. The Source magazine’s website featured Big Cas as the up and coming artist of the month, and recognized him as one of the nation’s hottest up and coming artists. Big Cas’ gritty rap style, witty punch lines, and cross-over appeal have filled a void in NC and throughout the south, and has proved to the masses that he definitely has potential of achieving multi-platinum success. Big Cas released his first white labeled hit singles “Call Me” ft. Remy Ma, and “We Ain’t Playin” ft. Pastor Troy, which both did really well in the south east region. Big Cas was nominated at the Underground Music Awards as the next artist to blow. Big Cas has collaborated with many industry artists, such as Freeway (Roc-a-Fella), Pastor Troy, 9th Wonder (Producer), Cory Gunz (Def Jam), Remy Ma (SRC), T. Waters (So So Def), Stack Bundles (R.I.P. Dipset/Byrdgang) etc. Big Cas took his buzz and his quest to put North Carolina on the map to the highest extent by releasing his south club/street anthem “Pop The Trunk.” This anthem set the streets and clubs on fire throughout the south. Big Cas also released his mixtape “Back 2 The Future." Within its 1st week of release this mixtape was featured on MTV.com’s Mixtape Monday weekly segment as a top mixtape to check for. Back 2 The Future was created as the ultimate promotional tool on the internet, being that it’s a mixtape that can be downloaded for free. This mixtape received over 10,000 downloads just in its first week of release!
