About Corey[NEW SONG UP-Listen To Your Heart](6.15.09)
Let me tell you a lil bit about me. The name is Corey Bollmeyer, aka Big C, and I'm a rapper coming out from Covington Louisiana(985). I started rapping my freshman year at Covington High and by sophomore year I was actually recording songs on my headset mic in my room. I got a job that summer and managed to afford a new studio level mic and was putting songs out and barely had a fan base. By my junior year I was making progress into developing my lyrical ability and flow to suit my content. No more was I putting out pop, radio hit music unless it had punchlines because before then I sounded like every other rapper.
My music career took a short hiatus when my father passed in January of 2008 but I soon picked the mic back up creating heartfelt lyrics and expressing anger and energy in my flow. I was starting to create a buzz around school with the help of Max Gurtner. By my senior year I started to connect with more people, experimenting with what I thought worked and didn't work. I was making story telling tracks and punchline rhymes like it was nothing. In November of 2008 I collaborated with Chris Meandow(Cracka Chris) to release Hotsauce On My Chicken which made a huge turnout over youtube and at Covington. It was a song produced for a video contest by Louisiana Hotsauce and it netted me a thousand dollar check.
It also made me a name around the then junior class which already saw success with the release of my diss track "Phone Home Timmy" aimed at Alien Tim, a weird dude that believed in aliens. I was being recognized by my fellow classmates but I failed to make communication with them because of my shyness. Currently, I'm working on my mixtape, Chronicles of Victory(COV). I have it set to come out on the 14th of June(2009) as a free download for my fans.
If I know you or not, it doesn't matter. I'm not some robot machine created to release my music over myspace and completely shun the people I have added. I'm here to sell my music to you while building a relationship that I hope will be everlasting. So, if I add you, of course I want you to hear my music, but I also want to get to know you as a person. Just hit me up people, and thank you for reading my story.
jourdan's gonna be home in about 30 mins and when she gets home she's comin to my house and we're comin to get you then we'll figure out what we're gonna do with tim bob. then we're goin to mt hermon to hang out with cynthia tonight :)
then maybe after that Mah-Rizzle [me] and Bernizzle [Bernice] are gonna make our rap video :)) ahahahahaa
i dont even know jourdan's number so i tried callin tiffany to get it but she didnt answer and idk what time jourdan's gettin home. she's been stayin with her maw maw in slidell and i know she's comin home today i just dont know when yet.
my daddy just called and he's in a super duper good mood today for some reason lol.
him and his friend that he works with, chris, were hatin cuz dad said somethin about how the governor is at our school and i was like ima be honest i dont even know who the governor is and daddy goes oh Lord, at least when chris GUESSED he got it right lol and i said okay hang on...ima google it and get back to you. :)
and im just gettin all the sleep i can in before its back to gettin up at 5:45 every mornin and drivin 45 mins to get to that crappy little place i call school. :/
