Big circus are from Birmingham UK, playing melodic indie rock with a cutting edge. The band write songs that gnaw away at your subconscious and demand you listen again. A review by Making Music magazine describing the songs as having choruses that Bret Anderson would die for nowadays.
The band has made several TV appearances including shows for Carlton and Cable and received airplay on BBC radio and also independents such as XFM and Kerrang 105.2. Prestigious gigs played include dates at Birminghams NEC & Ronnie Scotts and Londons Underworld and the band are now venturing ever further afield.
The promo EP Snack Bar prompted The Birmingham Evening Mail to describe big circus as The band with the Golden Touch and the Stourbridge News to call the songs Stunning.
Following recent features on Kerrang 105.2 and great live performances the bands reputation continues to grow ...

Lucius Lowe brings one of his earliest productions "Sweet music" bang up-to-date on the latest release from Boogs Music. The package brings three different flavours to your record box - The classic, smooth vocal house sound of the "High on the groove mix," Hard-hitting club sounds from the "Thru the roof mix" and the deep and soulful groove of the original 2003 mix. Featuring haunting vocals from newcomer Lois Taylor, the package gives an accurate measure of how Lucius' production skills have been honed between composition of the original 2003 mix and more recent remixes. The "Thru the roof mix" also marks Lucius' first commercial release, included on the compilation CD "Dancefloor '06" from Manchester's D6 Records. Think Ian Carey meets the Groove Junkies and you won't be far off with this excellent offering from Boogs Music...
