About me: Big City Diner is 100% locally owned and operated on the Island of Oahu in the State of Hawaii. We are Hawaii's most family friendly award winning restaurant.We are open daily 365 days a year from 7am serving Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Late Nite also offering a full service bar in each of our locations and have since added a full service catering department.
Our menu is that of "All-American" with a Pacific Asian twist. Besides our Award Winning Grandma's Incredible Kim-Chee Fried Rice we also serve Baby Back Ribs with Guava BBQ Sauce, Steaks, Juicy Burgers, Fries, Meatloaf, Shakes and MUCH MUCH MORE!
Since opening our first location in 1998 on Waialae Avenue in Old Historic Kaimuki Town we have grown to five locations including Kailua, Ward Entertainment Center, Waipio and now at Pearlridge Shopping Center. We have also won many awards and recognitions including 'Ilima, Hale Aina, Best of the Best, Zagat and more.
At opening we originally had about 40 employees and now are 400 Team Members strong and recently celebrated our tenth anniversary in 2008.
